How do I take my measurements in relation to the door or window frame?

The measurement must be taken outside the window, including the moulding. Add 2 inches in width and 3 to 4 inches in height. If your measurements are not standard, please contact us by email for a quote.

Example for a 24'' x 66'' frame you will choose a 26'' x 70'' curtain / blind.

 

How do I take measurements for a solar shade?

Measurements must be taken outside the moulding and you must add 2 inches lengthwise to include the rods.

Example for a 24'' x 66'' frame you will choose a 24'' x 68'' fixed solar shade.

 

How long does it take to receive my order?

The delay to receive your order is 3 weeks of manufacturing and one week of transit (2-5 working days).

Products are made to order in our Laurentian (Quebec, Canada) workshop.

 

What is the difference between a curtain and a Paoma magnetic blind?

The curtain is the simplified version of the blind. The curtain has no folds and it just has magnets in the centre and at the bottom. While the blind has pleats and magnets all along (between 8 and 14 for a roman blind look). Both have the same magnetic rod which is attached with velcro.

 

How to install the curtains and/or blinds after the reception?

Simply unroll the curtain and/or blind and install the magnetic rod over the window moulding.

 

Can I put a magnetic blind on a wooden door?

The system is currently only designed to fit on a steel door or window.

 

Is this system adaptable to any type of window? Is there an alternative?

For the time being, the system is made exclusively for steel doors. Any special request should be sent to us by e-mail.

 

How can I check if my door is made of steel?

Just test the door surface with a magnet you have on the fridge, for example.

 

Do you deliver outside of Canada?

Yes, we also deliver to the United States.

 

Do you make custom-made windows with atypical sizes or shapes?

Customization is possible by contacting us by email. It will be our pleasure to offer you a solution corresponding to your needs.

 

What happens if I'm not satisfied with my order once it's delivered?

We guarantee customer satisfaction. Simply contact us and we will explain the easiest way to proceed. Please wait for our agreement. A 15$ fee for Canada and 25$ for the United States are to be expected because we already offer free shipping when you order. We will reimburse the product once the return has been processed.

 

How do curtains and blinds maintain themselves? Are they washable?

Yes, they wash by hand or in the washer. For the washer, you must use the wash bag provided with the product because the drum of the washer is made of metal. This will protect your curtain. For drying, it is advisable to hang it up.

 

How can I see the fabric?

You can visit one of our distributors or if you do not have one near you, you can order samples directly on the website (shop section / product sample) or by contacting us.

 

Is it possible to order by phone?

Yes of course we will gladly take your order at customer service.

 

Do you have a pick-up system?

If you order in a point of sale your order will be delivered directly to the distributor who will see with you according to his conditions to recover the product.

If you place an order on the site, we use Purolator delivery as our preferred method of delivery.

 

How is the delivery and how long does it take?

Delivery is made with Purolator and UPS takes over for the United States. It takes between 2 and 4 business days for Canada and between 4 and 6 business days for the United States. It is important to give a physical address because a signature is required. Delivery is made during business hours from Monday to Friday. In case of absence, a card will be left with the address of where to pick it up.

 

What are the different means of payment available to me?

You can pay your order by credit card, Paypal on the site. Other means of payment are available in the retail stores.

What is the difference between a fixed and a roller screen?

The fixed shade has a magnetic rod at the top and bottom. This means that it cannot be rolled up. You will be able to see outside but with a relative privacy to the chosen opacity percentage.

The roller solar shade can be rolled up manually and attached with the magnets on the back.
